Garlic Chive / Chinese Leek

Garlic Chive (Allium tuberosum), also known known as Chinese Leek, is a perennial onion plant used for their foliage and flower. Cuttings of the plant can be minced finely and used as a garnish, or cooked directly in foods or infused whole for rich, flavorful vegetable broths. Flowers can also be harvested and used as an accent for bouquets.

Garlic Chives will produce harvestable leaves approximately 100 days when seeding in soil and climate conditions. They are very productive once established; a single stand of plants is adequate for any home cooking, and mature plants can also be divided and relocated into other areas if you want more. Plants are frost hardy down to climate zone 3.
