Cherry Belle is an archetypal radish (Raphanus sativus) variety: fast-growing, luscious red round roots one to three inches in diameter with a perfect flavor balance between crisp, sweet and spicy. Young tops can be stir-fried or added to soups. We've always been fond of growing the Purple Plum Radish on our farm, but this Holland-based heirloom and 1949(!) All America Selections winner, tends to perform more consistently, especially in warmer weather or during erratic climate swings.
