Crookneck Summer Squash

This highly recognizable heirloom summer squash (Cucurbita pepo) has an appearance characteristic of its namesake: lemon pastel-skinned fruits with bell shaped bottoms and crooked tops. As fruits mature their skin turns to a deeper yellow. Plants have a somewhat erratic growth habit. They're highly productive, but stay on top of harvesting. Best eaten in the younger stage; otherwise, peel the fruits before cooking.

65 days from seed. Annual.

Seeds are certified organic.
