Riverside Onion

Riverside (Allium cepa) is an open pollinated short / intermediate day onion (note: for growing between latitudes between 25° and 42°; i.e. Southern US).This yellow skinned onion is on the sweeter side, but there is a hit of spiciness in there as well. Bulbs can reach over two pounds and have good storage potential due to their thick outer layer.

THIRD generation seed produced by us in Ojai, California: emphasis with this selection was resistance to early bolting and disease such as purple blotch.

Seeds are certified organic.
